General Refund Policy

At MedHealthPlus, we strive to provide excellent healthcare services. If you're not satisfied with our services, we offer refunds under the following conditions. All refunds are processed through our secure escrow system and typically take 5-7 business days to reflect in your account.

Important Note

Refunds are processed to the original payment method. For digital wallet payments, refunds may be credited to your MedHealthPlus wallet for faster processing.

Doctor Consultation Refunds

Cancellation by Patient:

  • More than 2 hours before appointment: 100% refund
  • Within 2 hours of appointment: 50% refund (to cover doctor's reserved time)
  • No-show or same-time cancellation: No refund

Cancellation by Doctor:

  • Any time before appointment: 100% refund + ₹100 inconvenience credit
  • Emergency cancellations: 100% refund + priority rebooking

Service Quality Issues:

  • Technical issues preventing consultation: 100% refund
  • Doctor unavailable at scheduled time: 100% refund + ₹50 credit
  • Unsatisfactory consultation (reviewed case-by-case): Partial to full refund
Medicine Order Refunds

Order Cancellation:

  • Before pharmacy confirmation: 100% refund
  • After confirmation, before dispatch: 100% refund minus processing fee (₹20)
  • After dispatch: No cancellation, but return policy applies

Return Policy:

  • Unopened medicines: 7-day return window for full refund
  • Wrong medicine delivered: 100% refund + free correct medicine
  • Damaged/expired products: 100% refund + ₹100 inconvenience credit
  • Opened/used medicines: No return (for safety reasons)

Non-Refundable Items:

  • Prescription medicines (once opened)
  • Personal care items and supplements (once opened)
  • Temperature-sensitive medicines (unless delivery issue)
Lab Test Refunds

Cancellation Policy:

  • More than 4 hours before collection: 100% refund
  • Within 4 hours of collection: 50% refund
  • After sample collection: No refund (tests will be processed)

Service Issues:

  • Failed sample collection: 100% refund + free rescheduling
  • Lab processing errors: Free retest + full refund if retest not possible
  • Delayed reports (beyond promised time): 25% refund + priority processing

Home Collection:

  • Technician no-show: 100% refund + ₹100 inconvenience credit
  • Rescheduling by patient: Free once, ₹50 fee for subsequent changes
Subscription Refunds

Premium Subscriptions:

  • Within 7 days of purchase: Full refund if no services used
  • Partial usage: Pro-rated refund for unused period
  • Annual subscriptions: Refund available for unused months

Family Plans:

  • Same refund policy as individual subscriptions
  • Refund calculated based on family usage across all members
Refund Process

How to Request a Refund:

  1. Log into your MedHealthPlus account
  2. Go to "My Orders" or "My Appointments"
  3. Select the item you want to refund
  4. Click "Request Refund" and provide reason
  5. Our team will review and process within 24-48 hours

Refund Timeline:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
  • Net Banking: 3-5 business days
  • MedHealthPlus Wallet: Instant

  • Order/Appointment ID
  • Reason for refund request
  • Supporting documents (if applicable)
  • Preferred refund method
Exceptions and Special Cases

Non-Refundable Situations:

  • Services already consumed (completed consultations, processed lab tests)
  • Violation of terms of service
  • Fraudulent or abusive refund requests
  • Emergency medical services

Force Majeure:

In case of natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseeable circumstances that prevent service delivery, we will provide full refunds or service credits as appropriate.

Dispute Resolution:

If you're not satisfied with our refund decision, you can escalate the matter to our customer care team at refunds@medhealthplus.com. We aim to resolve all disputes within 7 business days.
